The success of The Art Café is contributed in most part to the hard working and creative women behind the company.  Eva Popovec, along with her daughters Jackie Popovec, Allison Popovec, and Michelle Reese, opened The Art Café in 2012.  As kids, Eva’s daughters always enjoyed painting pottery every year while on vacation.  They wanted to create a similar, laid back environment in Youngstown where kids and adults could feel welcomed whether you are a beginner or a professional.

What makes The Art Café stand out from other contemporary pottery painting studios is the great attention they give their customers.  The ladies of The Art Café are always ready and willing to guide new painters through every step of the creative process.  They find a way to unlock the artistic side in everyone who walks through the door.  Recently, Eva and the girls launched ‘Blanc’.  A whole new concept recently that is finding footing with those who want customized keepsakes without the labor.

The future looks bright for the Art Café as they have just moved into their third location within the Southern Park Mall in Boardman, Oh.  Their latest move allows for both of their concepts to be in one store with more room to grow.
